I had 4,000 copies of Mom's No. 1 printed -- with a 49-cent cover price -- and distributed the great majority of them in Milwaukee. [...] When Kauth arrived in San Francisco he sold the [last] 500 quickly to The Print Mint [...] Gary Arlington of the San Francisco Comic Book Company placed an order for 1,000 copies of Mom's which I couldn't fill.
